This guide will help you configure your AISweb email account on your mobile device so you can send and receive emails on the go.
Before You Begin
You'll need the following information:
Email address: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email account password
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS)
Setting Up Email on iPhone or iPad
Open Settings on your device
Scroll down and tap Mail
Tap Accounts
Tap Add Account
Select Other
Tap Add Mail Account
Enter your details:
Name: Your name as it will appear on sent emails
Email: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email password
Description: AISweb Email (or any name you prefer)
Tap Next
Select IMAP at the top
Under Incoming Mail Server:
Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email password
Under Outgoing Mail Server:
Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email password
Tap Next
Choose which features to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars)
Tap Save
Setting Up Email on Android
Open the Email or Gmail app
Tap the menu icon (three lines) and select Settings
Tap Add Account
Select Other or Personal (IMAP/POP)
Enter your email address and tap Next
Select Personal (IMAP)
Enter your password and tap Next
Configure the incoming server:
Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email password
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL/TLS
Tap Next
Configure the outgoing server:
Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email password
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 465
Security type: SSL/TLS
Require sign in: Checked
Tap Next
Configure your account options and tap Next
Give your account a name and tap Next
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues:
Double-check your email address and password are correct
Ensure you're using
mail.yourdomain.com(replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain)Verify the port numbers and security settings are correct
Try using port 587 with STARTTLS if port 465 doesn't work
Check your internet connection
