Managing Autoresponders
To edit or delete an autoresponder:
Go to Autoresponders in cPanel
Find the autoresponder you want to modify
Click Edit to modify settings, or Delete to remove it
Best Practices
Set an appropriate interval: 24 hours prevents the same person from receiving multiple identical replies
Always set a stop time: Don't forget to disable your out-of-office when you return
Keep it brief: Autoresponders should be concise and informative
Provide alternatives: Include alternative contact details for urgent matters
Avoid using autoresponders on mailing lists: This can create email loops and annoy list members
Troubleshooting
If your autoresponder isn't working:
Check the start and stop times are configured correctly
Verify the email address is correct
Ensure the interval hasn't prevented a response (wait 24 hours and try again)
Check that emails are actually reaching your account
